Sakhizari is a place of incredible beauty. As all Georgian guidebooks say, it is a natural monument, featuring free-standing, eroded rocks that rise from the ground like mushrooms—each one unique in height and bizarre in shape. Some resemble birds, others bears, and one even looks like Garuda.
But the true magic lies in more than just these formations. Walking along the ridge, surrounded by sheer cliffs in a range of shapes and colors, you’ll feel an overwhelming sense of happiness. The freedom, the vastness, and the breathtaking beauty all around will leave you in awe.
