My territory - retreat

It has become a good tradition to host Tatiana Ivanova and the participants of her retreats in August. They come to Gudauri for a challenging, engaging, and intense experience. For us, it is a great pleasure to share the joy of mountain life, show them beautiful locations, and help the participants recharge after Tatiana's demanding psychological program.

During the week, despite the rainy weather, we still managed to catch the sun. We hiked to the Gveleti waterfall and the bottomless Abano lake in the Truso Valley, climbed the Chrdili ridge, and meditated there, surrounded by the sky and eagles. Walking in the clouds, where you can only see what is right under your feet, is the norm for a Gudauri local. But when you find yourself in such thick "milk" for the first time, the feelings are quite mixed.

As hosts, we tried cooking the traditional Georgian dish Chakapuli from fresh lamb for the first time. It turned out delicious.

We keep the personal growth process of the participants behind the scenes. We just hope that our hospitality helped everyone overcome the challenge Tatiana prepared for the group.

See you in March at the next retreat.
